The Moldy Peaches were an influential indie folk-rock band formed in the late 90's, consisting of Adam Green and Kimya Dawson. Their raw and bold take on folk-rock drew inspiration from punk and noise music, as well as incorporating elements of theatre and comedy into their performances. The duo's most successful release was their debut self-titled album in 2001, which featured the single "Anyone Else But You" famously featured in the film Juno. Since 2003, the Moldy Peaches ceased performing together, with Adam Green and Kimya Dawson both focussing on their individual projects. Although the duo are no longer active, they are still widely regarded as an influence on later acts such as the Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend and The xx.
