About The Original Wailers
The Original Wailers is an American reggae band, based in San Diego, California, started by Al Anderson and Junior Marvin. The group are best known as an offshoot of Bob Marley & The Wailers. They are critically acclaimed for their roots reggae, dub and dancehall music, which have gone on to form an integral part of modern reggae music.
Since their formation in 1989, the band have have released several studio albums, as well as other recorded work, toured extensively and even backed heavyweights like Burning Spear. The Wailers have developed their own unique brand of reggae music and are firmly established as one of the genre's mainstays. They continue to be hugely popular today and have released a wealth of new material right into 2021.
