Ya Levis is a Congolese musician from Brazzaville. He is often referred to as the "Prince of Soukous," named after the popular West and Central African dance music he is known for playing and singing. He has performed with many renowned African musicians, including Koffi Olomide and Awilo Longomba. His greatest hit, "Imbaraga", was released in 2001 and peaked at number one in the Congolese hit lists. He is signed up with the African music music label, Skyblaster Records. Ya Levis has four albums to his credit, the last of which was released in 2019. His catchy style of Soukous has earned him recognition in the African music industry, making him an important presence in the music scene.
