Once is a music artist from Japan founded by keyboardist Tomoyuki Asano and drummer Shunsuke Watanabe. Their musical style is a unique and organic blend of acoustic rock, jazz and folk. They have produced a wide variety of material and collaborated with a number of other artists from all over the world. They have released four studio albums, the most famous being their 2011 breakthrough album “ICEARTH”, as well as two live albums, a best of album and several singles. The band have seen much success in their own country, having scored multiple top 10 singles on the Japanese Oricon chart. They have also toured extensively, performing in Europe, Korea, Taiwan, South America and the USA. Their music has been featured in various television commercials, video games and films, as well as having been the recipient of multiple awards and awards nominations.
