Effie is a Swedish singer-songwriter. Her style of music could be described as a unique blend of folk, pop, and soul. Her single, "One By One" was featured in the season 7 finale of the show Grey's Anatomy, making her one of the few Swedish artists to appear in the show's soundtrack. Effie's career has been on an upward trajectory since her debut album, In Your Dreams, was released in 2016 and she has released five EPs and 4 full-length albums since then. Her 2019 album, Tell the World, was nominated for "Best Album" at the Swedish Studio Awards. Since then, Effie has continued to tour and release new music, her last studio album, First Contact, was released independently in early 2020.
