About Simon Brodkin
Simon Brodkin is a British comedian, actor, writer and doctor, best known for playing the fictional character Lee Nelson. He first rose to fame when he won the Perrier Award (now known as the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2003. Brodkin's career has seen him experimenting with different comedy styles and characters. His television credits have included stand-up shows such as Lee Nelson's Well Good Show, 3 Non-Blondes, Hackney Empire, Live at the Apollo, and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow. He has also appeared as himself on ITV's comedy panel show Play to the Whistle and is the writer of BBC Three's sitcom Lee Nelson's Well Funny People. In addition to his television work, Brodkin is also known for his prankster performances around the world.
