Andrew Callaghan is a Scottish singer-songwriter from Airdrie, Scotland. He began his career in 2009, releasing two EPs and a single independently before signing with Universal Records in 2016. His debut studio album, Inertia, was released later that year to critical acclaim, with his songs drawing frequent airplay from BBC Radio 2. His tunes feature light acoustic pop influences, often combining gentle strumming with sweetly felt melodies. Andrew also frequently dives into the world of folk, creating intimate compositions fit for the campfire soundtrack or the personal bedroom anthem. His warm and inviting lyricism coupled with passionate progressions create a sound unique to Andrew. He has so far supported the likes of Fleet Foxes, John Mayer and Jack Garratt to name a few.
