CrankGameplays, also known as Joel, is an American video game commentator, rapper, YouTuber, and Twitch streamer. He has gained fame through his live streams on Twitch and comedic gameplay commentary videos on YouTube. His YouTube channel has grown to more than 7 million subscribers and his Twitch channel has attracted more than 600,000 followers. He was formerly part of the popular entertainment group Glitch, whose members regularly appear on Crank's channel. Crank has also released several rap tracks featuring video game references and parodies of popular songs, mostly in collaboration with another YouTube personality, Ninothedj. He was once ranked as one of the top 10 most popular video game commentators, and he continues to remain popular with his substantial following around the world.
