3K is a South African hip-hop artist and producer based in Johannesburg. He first emerged on the rap scene in 2012 with his mixtape ‘The Great Escape’ which had an overwhelmingly positive response.

Since then, 3K has released two albums as well as many singles and EPs. His music has a great mix of sounds from around Africa and the world, featuring artists from Ghana, Sudan, Lesotho, Nigeria, Mozambique and more. He creates music that spans multiple genres as well as being socially conscious.

3K has toured across the United States, Europe and Africa, having performed at the South by Southwest Music Festival and the Afropunk Festival in London. He has collaborated with many notable artists and producers, including Don Jazzy and Drumsound.

Due to his diverse sound and style, 3K has become an important figure in modern hip-hop and is highly respected by his peers.
