Agent are an influential and pioneering English punk rock band formed in Wythenshawe, Manchester in 1983. The band have released two albums; 'The Last Battle' in 1985 and 'A.W.O.L: Agents With Out Limits' in 1997. The band were revered for their hard hitting, politically charged, take-no-prisoners rock sound and style. They are recognized as one of the most important bands to bridge the gap between punk and metal. Agent blazed a trail through a wave of early 1980s punk rock and had a huge influence on the evolution of alternative music in the 1990s. They saw huge success both in the UK and on the European circuit before splitting in 1998. To this day Agent remain one of the most beloved and highly respected punk bands of their time.
