Beatenberg is an indie pop band from Cape Town, South Africa, formed in 2010. Composed of Matthew Field, Ross Dorkin, andRobin Brink, the band has released three full-length albums, “The Hanging Gardens of Beatenberg”, “Pluto”, and the recently released “The Hanging Gardens of Beatenberg Deluxe Edition”. The band has toured extensively in their home country and Europe, including appearances at festivals like Wilderness, Reeperbahn, and Glastonbury, and have received positive critical acclaim in both music and film circles. After winning several awards for their music and film work, they became the first South African indie band to shoot a music video in Mali. Beatenberg are a band determined to use their music to share the beauty and joy of their home country and to break down long-standing international stereotypes associated with South Africa.
