About Benga

Benga avatar

Benga is an award-winning DJ and electronic music producer, hailing from London, UK. He is best known for his work within the genre of dubstep. He rose to global fame by being one half of the duo Magnetic Man, alongside Skream and Artwork.

Benga's solo career started in 2006, with the release of 'Diary of an Afro Warrior', a trademark mix series, sparking interest in his style of distorted bass sounds. His reputation was further cemented in 2008 with the release of 'Crunked Up' which quickly established him as an innovative music artist.

More recently, Benga has worked with a variety of artists, including Tinie Tempah and Meridian Dan. He also released a 5-track EP 'Icon' in 2017, to legendary reviews. In 2019, Benga announced 'The Journey', a worldwide tour, which saw him perform at dozens of festivals around the world.
