Black Cab is a psychedelic rock band from Port Townsend, Washington, formed in 2008 by lead singer and songwriter Lincoln Barr, multi-instrumentalist Lance Koehler and lead guitarist Eric Maddox. Their sound has evolved over time, starting out as an indie rock band, to becoming a lo-fi, alternative folk-influenced act later on. Since their inception, the band have released two full-length albums and two EPs, and have toured extensively throughout the US and Europe. Black Cab has earned a reputation for their engaging live performances, evoking a wide range of emotion through their emotionally charged delivery and soul-wrenching lyrics. The band's music has been featured in television shows such as Grey's Anatomy, The Good Wife, Cougar Town, and others.
