Cloud Cult is an American rock band based in Minnesota. The band is made up of 8 members who are led by vocalist and songwriter Craig Minowa. Cloud Cult creates positive and uplifting indie rock as well as avant-garde and experimental music. The band has released 10 albums as of 2020 and their music has been featured on the soundtracks of television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, The Sex and the City Movie, and Castle. In addition to their recordings, Cloud Cult produces small scale multimedia productions, including interactive art installations, and short films to help visualize and create a deeper level of connection with the music. The band has consistently moved into new artistic territory, and continues to challenge the boundaries of music and art.
