About Concord Dawn
Concord Dawn are an electronic music duo, made up of Matt Harvey and Evan Short, which formed in Auckland, New Zealand in 1998. By blending drum & bass with dub, trance and electronica, the duo have crafted a distinct sound, inspired by their many musical influences.
Their releases include two studio albums, Uprising and Chaos By Design, as well as many EPs and singles. The album Uprising reached Number 1 on the New Zealand Top 40 Album Chart. Concord Dawn have had numerous charting tracks, in New Zealand as well as internationally, with support from the likes of BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac, Andy C & High Contrast.
They have also completed numerous remixes for esteemed artists such as, Moby, The Prodigy, and 30 Seconds To Mars. Concord Dawn's music is regularly included in film, television and video game soundtracks, including involved placements for Gossip Girl, NFL on NBC, and at the 2004 Olympic Games
