About Dakesis

Dakesis is an Epic Heavy Metal band from Worcestershire, England, formed in 2005 by members Dan Baker, Mark Field, Mark Renshaw, and Alex Swift. They combine the traditional sounds of heavy metal with their own unique blend of power and melody, drawing influences from a variety of genres.

Their debut album ‘Trial By Fire’ was released in 2012, leading to them winning Stoke-on-Trent’s Metal to the Masses Award and subsequently recording at Wacken Open air. Since then, they have released a further 4 albums, including their latest ‘A New Dawn’ in 2021.

The band has toured extensively across the UK and Europe with other metal acts, including the likes of Dragonforce and Powerwolf. Their live performances often combine soaring leads and guttural vocals with a powerful stage presence.
