About Dan Tyminski
Dan Tyminski is an American singer, songwriter, and Bluegrass musician known for his high tenor vocal range and influence on bluegrass music. Tyminski is a professional member of the musical group, Alison Krauss & Union Station, who won the Grammy for Country Performance by a duo or group for their 2001 hit single "The Lucky One". He rose to fame as the vocalist singing the Airline motif in the Grammy-winning soundtrack of the Coen Brother's movie Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?. His solo album Wheels has earned him numerous award nominations from the International Bluegrass Music Association. Tyminski has continued to be involved in numerous projects as a lead vocalist and studio musician both collaborative and solo. He was a Grammy-nominated vocalist on Avicii’s 2013 hit single “Hey Brother” and just released the critically acclaimed solo album Southern Gothic in 2018.
