About Died Pretty

Died Pretty are an Australian alternative rock band, formed in Sydney in 1984. The band has released a total of eight studio albums, their first two, Free Dirt (1986) and Doughboy Hollow (1991), are acclaimed as two of the most influential releases in Australian rock history. After a two-album major label deal in the early 1990s, Died Pretty signed to an independent label and released a string of successful albums in the late 1990s. The band toured internationally and even supported U2 twice on their Australian tours. After a long hiatus beginning in the early 2000s, when their last studio album, Lost, was released, Died Pretty reunited for three shows in 2015, which prompted a new nationwide tour in 2016.
