He is widely recognized for his ability to blend an eclectic mix of styles from hip hop, to jazz, soul, funk, dub, and electronic. He has also produced albums for the likes of The Roots, KRS-One, and Professor MIghty Mi, and collaborated with Erykah Badu, Carl Cox, and The Cinematic Orchestra.
