DoubtingThomas is an ambient electronica artist from Iowa, who has been releasing music since 2013. His self-released albums, such as an EP called 'Stag Beckons' and a full-length album called 'Cascades', draw upon influences from various styles, including Hyperdub, Footwork, and experimental ambient music. His sounds explore melancholic atmospheres and incorporate the occasional sampled vocal. DoubtingThomas has also remixed a variety of artists ranging from experimental indie to footwork-laced hip-hop. He has shared the stage with other artists such as Beats Antique, Capital K, and Kiyoshi. Most recently, DoubtingThomas released a powerful ambient full-length album called 'The Luminous Depths' in 2020.
