Empathy Test is an electronic music duo based in London, England, consisting of Isaac Howlett and Adam Relf. Since their formation in 2013, the band has released two full-length albums, two EPs, and a collection of singles and remixes.

Their sound is a blend of atmospheric synths, live guitar, pulsing drum loops, and thoughtfully-crafted lyrics. Influenced by The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Massive Attack, the duo produce cinematic and emotive music.

The band gained early recognition by BBC Radio 6, earned a spot on the long list for the 2019 Mercury Music Prize, and has opened for artists like YUNGBLUD and As It Is.

Empathy Test's most recent release, Monsters, was a concept album about characters coming to terms with their inner turmoil. The duo continues to write and tour around Europe, gaining a growing fan base of loyal followers.
