Eric Krasno is a renowned American jazz and funk guitarist and composer. He is known for performing and producing soulful, bluesy, and fat-infused music. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Krasno has served as a multi-instrumentalist and composer in addition to his trademark guitar work. He is a founding member of the soulful, electric jazz-rock quartet Soulive and has also performed alongside a range of influential artists including D’Angelo, Talib Kweli, and Robert Plant. In recent years, Krasno has established himself as a solo artist experimenting with a broad range of genres such as funk, soul, and R&B. He has released three solo albums including Eric Krasno (2009), Blood from a Stone (2016), and Trouble (2019) as well as two live albums, First There Is a Mountain (2019) and One Man’s Trash (2020).
