About Jason Bruer

Jason Bruer is an Australian singer-songwriter from the Central Coast, New South Wales. He has released records through labels including Universal, Sony, EMI, Warner and ABC. Since 2000, Bruer has released five studio albums, four EPs and over a dozen singles. His sound is a mix of acoustic folk music, alt-rock and nu folk. He has won several awards for his music, including Best Song at an Independent Music Awards, Best Australian Music Video at UMA’s, and ARIA Finalist for Best Blues and Roots album. He’s also performed internationally, including appearances at SXSW and CMJ Music Marathon in the USA, and Glastonbury in the UK. His most recent album ‘Lapsed’ was released in 2018.
