The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Norris, guitarist and backing vocalist Alex Nelson, bassist Matt Kalina, and drummer Zach Hendrickson. Just Friends has released six studio albums, five EPs, and two live albums. Their most commercially successful albums to date are 2012's The Dreamer EP and 2019's What Matters. Just Friends is known for their trademark sound, which blends indie rock and folk styles with emotional and soulful melodies. They often use lyrics to convey their messages, which are often centered on themes of love and heartache.
