About Kix
Kix is an iconic American rock band formed in Hagerstown, Maryland in 1979. Kix created a unique blend of hard rock and heavy metal, often referred to as "the Kix sound", and their musical style is often compared to the likes of Van Halen and Def Leppard. The band is known for their hit songs "Cold Shower" and "Don't Close Your Eyes", both of which reached the Top 40 charts in 1988.
Kix released several more albums after the early success of their first two, including Hot Wire, Blow My Fuse, and Show Business. All of their albums have performed well in the US and both Hot Wire and Blow My Fuse made it into the Top 100 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.
Some of Kix's more recent work includes appearing on the soundtrack of the 2009 movie Sympathy for Delicious and a 20th Anniversary Box Set release, both of which made it into the top 100 of
