Lime Spiders are an Australian rock band, that formed in Sydney in 1979, and have been recording and performing around the world ever since. They developed their own unique sound, a mix of garage punk and psychedelic rock, which made them stand out in the Australian indie music scene. They have been recording and performing for several decades now, and have achieved commercial success in Britain and Europe, as well as gaining recognition back home in Australia. Over the years, their cult following as grown and they have become favourites in the alternative and indie music scene. They released four studio albums during their peak years, as well as a selection of EP's and some solo projects. Their classic hits ‘Slave Girl’ and ‘Weirdo Libido’ were anthems on alternative and indie radio.
