About Mclusky*
Mclusky* was an alternative rock band based in Cardiff, Wales. The group consisted of members Andy Falkous (vocals/guitar), Jack Egglestone (drums) and Jon Chapple (bass).
The band formed in 2001 and released their debut album My Pain and Sadness Is More Sad and Painful Than Yours a year later. The album was praised critically and established the band's reputation for a loud and chaotic live show.
Mclusky* went on to release two more albums - Mclusky Do Dallas (2002) and The Difference Between Me and You Is That I'm Not On Fire (2004). Their music combined elements of post-punk and noise rock, creating a unique sound which won them critical acclaim.
The band split up in 2005 following tensions between the members, with Andy and Jack forming the band Future of the Left. Mclusky* remains an influential and highly acclaimed British rock band to this day
