Mina is an Italian pop singer whose career spans five decades and includes over 20 million records sold all over the world. She began her career as a child protégé in Naples in the mid-1960s and quickly earned a reputation as a versatile and dynamic vocalists with a powerful yet delicate voice. After scoring major success with numerous hits in the 1970s, she reinvented herself in the '80s, embracing the new wave and disco style of the time. Following a brief sabbatical, she returned to the music industry with a more refined and sophisticated sound in the late '90s that earned her numerous awards. Mina continues to record and tour today, having released nine studio albums and 30 singles in 2017 alone.
