Nile is an American Technical Death Metal band from South Carolina, formed in 1993. Over almost three decades, they have released nine studio albums, each focusing on crushing riffs and atmospheres combined with fierce lyrics and songwriting. Although Nile has went through numerous lineup changes, vocalist/guitarist Karl Sanders is still the driving force behind the band.

Nile’s sound has evolved over the years, from an early Death Metal sound to later embracing some of the Folk, Ancient Egyptian and Oriental themes that make them unique. Whith their releases, the band has established themselves as one of the most influential bands of the genre, highly praised by critics and fans alike. They continue to perform live shows and festivals worldwide and have become a mainstay in the underground Metal genre.
