Onra, born Arnaud Bernard, is a French electronic music producer. Coming out of Paris, Onra became known for flipping samples into beats for other artists, until he released his solo work in 2006. His debut album, Chinoiseries, was later hailed by Pitchfork as one of the best albums of the decade. Fusing hip-hop, funk, and galactic electronic sounds, he consistently creates music that is adventurous and unpredictable. He's released plenty of his own projects - most recently, a retro tribute fifth album Long Distance and the cosmic 100% sample-based Lunar LP. Plus he has collaborated with other artists’ remixing work for Flying Lotus, Gold Panda, and Redman. Onra has also done a number of remixes for Channel Live, A Tribe Called Quest, and the Prodigy. Over the past decade and a half, he’s developed an innovative and comprehensive style of creating music, continuing to put out new and exciting projects
