Powerslave is a metal band from L.A, California. Formed in 1990, Powerslave helped usher in an inspiring new era for the metal community with their original style of neo-classical metal. Led by vocalist Lance Powell, the band released their first studio album, entitled ‘Stormbringer’, in 1992. The album featured a mix of classic guitar riffs, catchy choruses and strong lyrics. The single ‘The Fire Within’ quickly rose to prominence as the band’s best-known song. Powerslave has released five additional studio albums, touring heavily throughout the US and Europe over the last decade. They remain a highly popular live act and are highly respected within the heavy metal genre.
