Princess Chelsea is the musical project of New Zealand recording artist Chelsea Nikkel. She gained recognition with her 2011 single "The Cigarette Duet". Since then she has created the New Zealand indie pop genre and released two full-length albums. Her debut album, Lil' Golden Book, was released in 2013 and features the single "Too Fast to Live". Her second album, The Great Cybernetic Depression, was released in 2016 and includes her acclaimed single "No Church on Sunday". She has also collaborated with various other artists and won two New Zealand Music Awards. Princess Chelsea continues to write and record music, captivating her fans with her dreamy sound and whimsical lyrics.
