Ringo Starr is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and actor, best known for being the drummer for the Beatles. He has had a long and successful career since the early 1960s and is one of the most iconic figures of the 20th century. Outside of the Beatles, Ringo Starr has had a successful solo career, releasing 18 studio albums over his career. His music was often rooted in rock and pop music, yet often had a unique twist to it. While many of his solo releases were commercially successful, his most successful album was the 1973 release, ‘Ringo’, which reached No. 2 on the U.S Billboard 200 chart. Alongside Ringo’s successful music career, he has also appeared in several films and television shows and is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
