About Sarah Jarosz
Sarah Jarosz is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Texas. She began playing the mandolin at a young age, eventually learning how to play the guitar, clawhammer banjo and octave mandolin. Jarosz released her debut album, Song Up In Her Head, in 2009, when she was only 19, and won a Grammy the following year for Best Folk Album for her third album, Build Me Up From Bones. She then returned in 2017 with her fourth studio album, Undercurrent, which saw Jarosz experiment more with indie-folk and emerged as a Best Folk Album Grammy nominee. She followed up in 2019 with the critically acclaimed World On The Ground, which earned 4-star reviews across the board and further demonstrated her song-writing prowess. Jarosz has now performed as a band member on the David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon shows, adding to her career highlight list.
