Smerz tickets

Smerz is an electronic music duo from Oslo, Norway comprised of Catharina Stoltenberg and Henriette Motzfeldt. Stoltenberg and Motzfeldt describe their sound as a mix of club music and experimental pop. The duo has released three EPs via XL Recordings, including their 2017 debut EP “Okey”, which received praise from Pitchfork and Spin. In March 2018, Smerz released their second EP, “Have Fun”, which included five new tracks. Their unique sound, dubbed “pop-slop”, combines low-fi beats and ethereal spoken word, topped off with jarring synths. Having been featured on BBC Radio, Red Bull Music Academy, and Boiler Room, Smerz are on the rise and well worth keeping an eye on.
