Sophie and the Giants is an indie pop rock band from Sheffield, England. Their vocalist, Sophie Scott, started writing and performing their signature blend of uplifting pop-rock songs at the age of 16. Their debut single "Tired of Trying" charted at number ten in the UK charts and gained them worldwide recognition. In 2020, they released their debut album "Break the Silence" to critical acclaim. Singles from the album charted in the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and UK Singles Chart throughout the year. The album was nominated for the IMPALA Album of the Year Award in 2021. The trio, comprised of Scott, Max Bloom, and Toby Holmes, has been highlighted by many taste-making publications, including BBC Radio 1, Clash Magazine, DIY Magazine, and The Independent, for their fresh take on alt-rock.
