Sukhwinder Singh is an Indian playback singer and music composer who is mostly famous for his Bollywood film songs. His career began in 1995 while working for the film Ram Shastra and he went on to become one of India's most successful and respected playback singers. His songs are noted for their energy and enthusiasm, blending traditional Indian sounds with modern pop and rock. He has won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer twice, as well as the IIFA Award and the Screen Award. He has also worked as a music director for films such as Taal, Chai Pani Etc, Heroine, and My Friend Ganesha. In addition, he has successfully released many solo albums and has collaborated with a variety of music directors.
