The Dreadnoughts is a Canadian Celtic punk band based in Vancouver, British Columbia. They combine traditional folk music and punk rock to create a unique sound that evokes the working-class and seafaring culture of Vancouver's East End. Formed in 2008, they have two full-length albums, Polka's Not Dead and Legions of the Deep, and EPs including Longest Strides and Condition Red as well as several singles and music videos. The band has toured extensively throughout Canada, the US, UK, and Europe, performing at music festivals and shows all around. They have become well known for their high-energy, barrel-rolling live performances, which have become a thing of legend. They have earned a dedicated following of fans and received praise from some of the biggest names in punk and folk music.
