About The Great Divide
The Great Divide is an alternative rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 1998. The current lineup consists of founder and vocalist Todd Wynn, guitarist Kenny Messer, bassist John Kinnaman, and drummer Adam Smith.
They signed to Wise Man Records in 2002 and released two albums—2002's What You Don't Know and 2003's In the Name of Love. The band achieved minor success in the alternative rock world and performed throughout the United States.
In 2004, Todd Wynn left the band and they dissolved shortly after. Wynn went on to find success with two of his own projects. He released a self-titled solo album in 2007, and another in 2011 under the moniker Waiting on a Train. After a brief hiatus, the members of The Great Divide reunited in 2013 and performed live again.
