The Square Tugs is an enigmatic folk-synth-fusion band from the Bay Area, California. The three band members; Val, Kiyo, and Michael; create a unique hybrid between folk and electronica, interlaced with funk and sultry pop being the perfect combination of upbeat, popping rhythms and warm, intimate sounds. Spanning a decade now, the band has released five studio albums, glimmering with songwriting, sonic textures, and infectious melodies. With support from long-term local radio station KKSF, The Square Tugs have building a loyal fanbase, some of whom have been attending shows since their formation many years ago.
