About Tono Rosario
Tono Rosario, born Máximo Antonio del Rosario on November 3, 1955, in Higuey, Dominican Republic, is a celebrated merengue artist and former lead singer of Los Hermanos Rosario, a band he formed with his brothers. Known for his unique voice and energetic stage presence, Tono helped popularize the merengue genre in the late 20th century. After leaving the group in the early 1990s, he embarked on a successful solo career, producing hits such as "Kulikitaka" and "La Gozadera." His contributions to music have earned him numerous accolades, making him an iconic figure in the Latin music scene.
