About Toque

Toque is an Indie Rock duo from Toronto, Canada. Their sound combines elements of surf rock, garage rock, jazz, and folk-rock. Members TJ Johnson and Dan Hosh play both electric and acoustic guitars, and are often joined live by bassist Zane García. Since their formation in 2006, Toque has released four studio albums, "As Far As We Got" (2006), "Old Maps & Photographs" (2008), "Man on the Corner" (2012) and "The Time Is Gone" (2016). They have also collaborated with a variety of artists, including a one-off with The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr. Their music has been featured in TV shows such as "Grey's Anatomy" and "One Tree Hill". Touring extensively all over North America and Europe, Toque has been praised by many music critics for their engaging, enjoyable live performances.
