Zakir Hussain tickets

Zakir Hussain is an internationally renowned Tabla virtuoso and one of India's most celebrated musicians. He is the co-founder of the world music group Tabla Beat Science, and the founder of the music group Masters of Percussion.

Hussain was born into a family of renowned musicians and began learning Tabla at the early age of three. Since then, he has been recognized as one of the world's greatest percussionists. He has worked with a variety of artists, including world-renowned flutist Ravi Shankar and jazz great John McLaughlin.

Hussain is also a composer renowned for his film scores and traditional Indian compositions. In the West, he is known mostly for his collaboration with McLaughlin and other jazz musicians, most notably on the album Remember Shakti. In 2006, he won a Grammy for his album Global Drum Project, which featured various drummers from around the world.
