Freak Show is an American rap and hip-hop group of five brothers who hail from Detroit, Michigan. Their music often celebrates their Motor City roots, and their sound is a blend of sung and rapped vocals, live instruments and samples. They emerged on the music scene in 2008 with their mixtape “Underground Phenomenom”, and gained recognition for their energetic performances and classic Detroit sound. In 2013, the group released their debut studio album “The Ugly Truth”, with guest appearances from Guilty Simpson, Elzhi, and Kaleem the Dream. Freak Show then followedup with their “Gift of Detroit” EP in 2016 and have since toured internationally, performing in countries like Japan, Canada, and the UK.
