James Roque is a Filipino-Canadian R&B singer-songwriter based in Toronto, Canada. His passion for music was clear early in life, having been heavily involved in the choir at his school and often entertaining family and friends with acoustic performances. Musically, he draws inspiration from both trending sounds in hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul, as well as traditional styles from the Philippines. Roque's entrance to the music industry began after releasing a successful single "No Turning Back" produced by Grammy-nominated producer DZL, which led to other viral projects. His debut album 'Issa Bounce!' subsequently hit streaming platforms in 2019 featuring other well-known musical heavyweights in Toronto including TiKA, Dan & Sapz, and more. James Roque continues to work on new projects and release singles, establishing himself as a multifaceted artist and a mainstay in Toronto's music scene.
