About Davy Knowles

Hailing from the Isle of Man, Davy Knowles is an English blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter who began his career playing in local clubs as a teenager. He quickly made an impression, garnering attention across Europe before signing with A&M Records. Knowles debuted his full-length album Back Door Hoodoo in 2008 and later released third and fourth albums entitled Coming Up for Air and Three Miles From Avalon while on tour with former Rolling Stones guitarist, Mick Taylor. During his career, Knowles has opened for acts like Robert Plant, Eric Burdon, Paul Rodgers, and Buddy Guy. Knowles continues to write, tour, and record music focusing on the traditional blues style.
