Tyketto is a rock/hard rock band formed in New York in 1989, by singer Danny Vaughn, guitarists Brooke St. James and Jimi Kennedy, bassist Chris Green and drummer Michael Clayton.
The band's debut album Don't Come Easy was released in 1991 and earned them commercial success, with hits such as the song Forever Young, which reached number 10 on the US rock charts.
The same album also spawned the band’s best-known song, the ballad "Sail Away", which became a classic rock hit in the early 90s.

The group released their second album Strength In Numbers in 1995, followed by Reach in 1997. Both reached the top 50 of the UK charts. Tyketto then went on an extended hiatus in 1999, but they reunited in 2009 for a tour, which led to their first studio album in 19 years, before disbanding once again in 2013.
