The Pharcyde tickets

The Pharcyde is an American alternative hip hop group based in Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1989, the group is composed of four inner city kids: rappers Imani, Bootie Brown, Slimkid3, and Fatlip. The Pharcyde released their first album, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, in 1992, which included the singles “Passin’ Me By” and “Ya Mama.” The album was hailed as a masterpiece of positive and light-hearted hip hop, which saw The Pharcyde championed as perhaps the best alternative rap group of the early 90s. The group followed up their debut with the albums Labcabincalifornia (1995) and Plain Rap (2000). Although the group never achieved the same levels of success as their debut, The Pharcyde’s music became staples in hip-hop and continues to be sampleds and cited to this day.
