Diljit Dosanjh is a popular Indian music artist. He is known mainly for his work in Punjabi music but has also released and been featured on tracks in Hindi, English, and other languages. Born in 1984 in a small town in Punjab, Dosanjh began his career in 2003 with a solo album that featured religious and humorous tracks and was well received commercially. Since then he has released eight more albums, several of which have gone on to receive Gold and Platinum certifications. As an actor, Dosanjh has appeared in multiple Punjabi and Hindi films over the years, winning awards for several of his roles. He is sometimes featured on international collaborations, and in 2020, he released an English-language EP. Dosanjh's work has earned him numerous accolades, including multiple awards from the World Music Awards, ETC and Brit Asia TV Music Awards.
