Rhoda Dakar is an English musician and singer specialising in ska and two-tone music. She was a member of the Bodysnatchers in the late 1970s and The Special AKA in the mid to late 1980s. Rhoda has also released a number of solo albums, including 'Rhoda Dakar Sings The Bodysnatchers', 'Rhodadakar' and 'Rhoda Dakar and the Special AKA'. She has taken part in numerous tours around the world and collaborated with high profile musicians, such as The Beat, Madness, The Selecter and UB40. Her efforts have earned her a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2018 International Ska Music Awards. A true innovator in the music industry, Rhoda Dakar will always be remembered as one of the pioneers of ska and two-tone music.
